Terms of Service

COVID-19 Pandemic Changes:

In order to adhere to the CDC and State Board of Massage Therapy Examiners guidelines, there will be changes in place at the facility to reduce any potential exposure to the virus. Clients receiving any services at our spa will be required to complete a pre-treatment health assessment and a verbal pre-screening safety questionnaire.

The health and wellness of all of our clients are important. Please review the CDC and State of Maryland guidelines and requirements prior to scheduling your appointment:

All customers are kindly asked to book an appointment, although same-day appointments are welcome. If a cancellation is necessary, we kindly ask our customers to call during business hours and cancel their appointment at least 72 hours in advance for all Massage Therapy or Energy Healing services and 48 hours in advance for any Salt Therapy or Meditation services. Cancellations that are not received within the proper time frame are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. No-shows will be subject to a 100% fee; therefore, for all services, a credit card or gift card number will be required at the time of booking. Please keep in mind that due to the nature of business, there will be a time that we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals, and the client will be responsible for full-service fees.

We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. However, we ask that you call, text or email to inform us if this occurs so we can do our best to accommodate you. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes we cannot exceed that reserved time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in a loss of time from your massage treatment so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full-service fees will be charged when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. In return, we will do our best to be on time, and if we are unable to do so we will add time to your session to make up for our late arrival or adjust the service charge accordingly.

Due to the unique nature of our facility, we recommend you arrive up to 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that you have sufficient time to prepare for your services. Please be advised that late arrivals will result in a reduction in treatment time. Any clients that miss more than 3 consecutive appointments within one year may be at risk of being discharged as clients.

Our therapist and staff provide the utmost quality of care with all of our services therefore no refund will be provided for any services rendered unless there are special circumstances and that will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

We want to make the most of your time, and help you to enjoy your experience. We ask that all cell phones be placed on vibrate and if you are expecting a phone call please inform your therapist. Unfortunately, any interruptions during the treatment will be considered part of your hands-on time and there will not be extra time added to your service. Massage Therapy and Energy Healing services are for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in the immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full-service fee regardless of the length of your session. Salt Therapy Room and Oasis Meditation Room are an atmosphere of relaxation and quiet time for each client, cell phones are required to be silent and no video time while in the rooms to respect everyone's privacy. Failure to respect other clients' privacy will result in termination of service.  Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your therapist, staff, and other clients with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.

All treatments including massage packages must be used within a year of purchase. No refunds on any packages sold. Any treatments or services not rendered within one year after purchase will expire and no longer be able to be used for any discounts or future services. No refunds will be issued for services not rendered within the year of purchase.

Group services are available in the spa as well as at private parties. To reserve or book group packages for future events a deposit of half of the massage treatment services or treatment services being requested for the event. Traveling fees are applied to private parties outside the spa. A credit card or debit card can be used to book an event. The traveling fee is $50.00 based on the commute and is subject to change based on mileage. All cancellations two weeks prior to the event will have 50% of the deposit returned, and less than one week (seven days) prior to the event will be charged the full cost of the group event. Any gift certificates used at the time of service will be deducted from the remaining balance due at the completion of services rendered.   A cancellation request can be submitted via phone or email. All refunds are subject to seven to ten business days.

Gift Cards are available online or in the spa. Any gift card ordered can be sent via postal mail by request only and will take 3-5 business days to be processed. All gift cards do not expire, however after one year from the date of purchase the gift card will receive a $10.00 monthly maintenance fee.  A gift card may be used or combined with any discounted promotions being offered at the time of service. No gift card can be redeemed in exchange for cash or to purchase another gift card. There will be no refund on gift cards. Lost or stolen gift cards will be stored in our database. Gift cards can be redeemed anytime.

Massage Therapy can be beneficial. Below you will find a list of precautions for treatments for each of the different modalities of massage available for service. If you are unsure of other health conditions, not listed below feel free to contact us via email at info@rajholistichealingspa.com or by phone at 240-309-4139.

•     History of miscarriage, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, history of any high-risk pregnancy, cardiac, pulmonary, liver, or renal disorders

•     Drug exposure, mother’s age under 20 or over 35, multiples, pitting edema, hypertension, epilepsy, or other convulsive disorders

•     Genetic abnormalities, placental or cervical dysfunction, fetal growth retardation, abdominal pain, bloody discharge, leaking of amniotic fluid

•     Sudden weight gain, fever, diarrhea, sudden edema/swelling, decrease in fetal movement over a 24-hour period, severe headaches

•     Severe nausea or vomiting

Minors Policy

All persons under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian fill out a release form. The parent/guardian will be required to remain at the facility for the entirety of the minor’s treatment(s).
